Mason's exciting week!

Mason's first trip to the Dentist!! Monday we went to visit Cousin Laura at the dentist office. We got to play in the dentist chair and have our teeth looked at. Laura is the greatest!! We like her so much that we are going to go back this Monday and let her fix our cavity. Won't that be fun!!

We also went to see our First Movie ever!!! Cars was awesome and Mason really enjoyed it. Abby wasn't as thrilled, but she got to play outside the theater most of the time. We also got to go to Nathans for Ice Cream with Aunt Coni, but I was too busy eatting my sundae to take pictures!! The kids absolutely LOVE walking around the apartments and seeing the cats in the window! The week ahead brings haircuts, job interviews, and a fun cookout with friends... we're excited!! Posted by Picasa

Abigail Rose

Abby, 2

As I sit here and try to think of what I can write to describe Abby I have so many things running through my mind. Her personality is just so fun and entertaining, but on the other hand, she has a couple 2 yr old quirks! :)

She makes me laugh everyday and she is so expressive in everything she does. From learning to crawl, to feeding herself Abby always knew what she wanted and was determined to do just that. Abby looks up to Mason and will do anything he does, if he wants something, then she wants the exact same thing. If you ask Mason who his best friend is, he will answer "Abby" without hesitation. Abby has learned at a young age how to be a best friend and she does a pretty good job!

I love taking pictures of Abby because I know her faces so well. I can see her smile and know what she is thinking, I guess that is one of the best parts of being a mom. She is happy, secure and learning something new everyday. I couldn't ask for more.

Mason

Mason Wayne, 3 1/2

These days Mason is up to playing and pretending all the time. He absolutely loves being outside and only comes inside to "relax" and eat. Some of his favorite outdoor things are, helping Papa in the yard, finding ants, driving his Jeep, playing in the sand, and riding on his ride-on toys.

He is so sweet and sensitive. He is an absolutely wonderful big brother to Abby. He cares about other people, and he worries a little too much. (I wonder where he gets that from?) His imagination is unbelievable and he is so creative. He plays hard and runs harder! He can run so fast!!

I can't believe he will be 4 this fall, he is such a good boy. He is counting and sounding out his letters. He is working on addition and he can even write his name. He loves to learn and picks up new things so fast. He enjoys playing on the computer and knows the in's and out's of the Thomas the Tank Engine Website!

When Mason was a newborn he was so laid back, relaxed, and sweet. Those things have just never changed. He didn't go through a terrible two's phase and I've often wondered when that would start. I think Mason is just too sweet to be "terrible" and every night while I watch him go to sleep I am just amazed at the amount of love I can feel for one little boy.

My camera is working!

After 8 months of thinking that my 35mm was broken, I have it back, and I love taking pictures with it! Just a couple minor adjustments and a good cleaning got it back in shape... I'm so happy to have it back, but sure hate the cost of "real" film and "real" developing! Those digital cameras have spoiled me!

Anyways, here are a couple pictures of the kids that I took last week.
