Cooking for PaPa...

Abby has been doing excellent with potty training, so today we took a "Big Girl" trip to Toys R Us! Abby picked up a new microwave and was not about to put that sucker down!!
When we got home she was ready to cook for PaPa.
Mason got out his grill and started grilling up some food for him too!

I hope PaPa was extra hungry tonight! He ended up with LOTS of really yummy food. Posted by Picasa

Whistle while you work!

Anyone need some help with laundry?
Tonight I brought down a load of laundry and Ms. Abigail poured in the soap, threw all the clothes in (including her own shirt), and put the fabric softener in the middle cup. She closed the lid and the washer turned on... her face was so cute! She was beaming with pride. She did it all by herself! I bet when Aunt Coni gets home from vacation she will have a lot of laundry to do... maybe we can stop by her house for a while! Posted by Picasa

Good night, sleep tight...

Baby mine, don't you cry
Baby mine, dry your eyes
Rest your head close to my heart
Never to part, baby of mine

Little one when you play
Don't you mind what they say
Let those eyes sparkle and shine
Never a tear, baby of mine
If they knew sweet little you
They'd end up loving you too
All those same people who scold you
What they'd give just for
The right to hold you

From your head to your toes
You're not much, goodness knows
But you're so precious to me
Cute as can be, baby of mine

Twister!

It is pretty hot outside today, so we have been keeping ourselves occupied inside! Today I taught the kids how to play a "pre-school" version of Twister. We didn't use rights/lefts, but we did use the spinner and the colors.

2 hands on Blue!!
Put your head on yellow! So now the kids have a lesson in how to play Twister and there aren't even a lot of pieces to pick up when your done! Whoo-hoo!! Posted by Picasa

The Flying Circus!

Today we went down to see the Flying Circus! They are the planes that do loopdey-loops and twists and turns in air! We got there a little early so we got to ride a hay ride and hang out before the show. Around 2:30 the planes all took off for the show!

This is a guy actually standing on the top of the plane while it was in flight! He was pretty cool and came down to sign autographs at the end.

Here are the planes that fly together and do tricks...

Here are Mason and Abby standing by one of the circus planes... itwas pretty hot so it was hard to get them to cooperate for pictures. :)

Like I said... they really weren't into the picture thing today. Here they are with Mas at the end of another plane.

The show was fun, we had ice that kept the kids cool, and I think we all enjoyed the day. Posted by Picasa

4th of July Party!

This past weekend we went to Aunt Gail & Uncle Clay's Farm to celebrate family birthdays and the 4th of July! The kids enjoyed the day and we spent the night with Katlyn and Aunt Maria that night! Here we are at the party! They had a clown, moon bounce, and lots of fun things to keep the kids entertained! This is Abby and PaPa watching the clown show. Abby sure got comfy cozy...
While PaPa and Abby watched the clowns, Michael and Mason took a ride in the woods! Mason said they were "Looking for creeks and mudholes!". Any boy, at any age, can keep himself occupied with water and dirt!!
There they go!
