Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. We enjoyed the day here and once it was over Mason asked "Is Christmas tomorrow?" Poor guy, I've been telling him that Christmas isn't until Thanksgiving is over... I guess I should have been more specific!

New Car Seats!!

Mason turned 4 this year and he graduated to a Booster seat!! He was very happy about the move since he could now look out the window to see the flooded creeks even better... but he just looked so little in that back seat with no protection! So this past week we were forwarded an email about the importance of 5-point Harnesses in children and I urge you to watch...

Mason after the video...
So, needless to say... Mason is in a Britax Regent and Abby is in a Britax Marathon. I feel so much better now when I glance in the back seat and see them safely secured in their seats!!!

Day trip to DC

Sunday we took the Metro into DC and went to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.

They have Discovery room for children were they can touch and feel so many different things. I think the kids enjoyed it, but overall there wasn't that much to keep their attention. (they are a little young for the museums I guess)

Mason was asleep in the stroller before long and Abby was just happy they had Mac N Cheese at the cafeteria!! The day was gloomy and it rained while we were running back to the Metro. Maybe next weekend we can think of something a little more exciting...
