Healthy Check-ups at the Doctors!
This morning Mason and Abby had yearly check-ups with Dr. Chambers. This was the first time we've seen Dr. Chambers, but he was GREAT. Mommy's Doctor recommended him for children (he is just a General Doctor) and she was right... he was great with the kids! He even has his own 18 month old daughter. Mommy and Daddy were impressed!!
Mason weighed 38lbs which put him in the 90% for weight, and he was 3 ft. 5 in. which puts him in the 95% for height. All very good! Dr. Chambers made sure he was asking "why?" and following instructions. He passed the test because he is a very good listener and very good at asking "why?" all the time. He is also playing well with Abby and that was very important. Everything looked good, and his shots were all up to date, so he got off really lucky today.
Abby was 33lbs (90%) and 3ft (90%)... Dr. Chambers said she was "perfectly proportioned". She is offically potty trained and doing great. The Dr. made sure she is working with puzzles and playing well with Mason. She opened her mouth really big to let him look at her throat, and was so cooperative! She had to get 3 shots at the end. 2 in her legs and 1 in her arm... Mommy took Mason outside and Daddy stayed with Abby. He said she was a big girl and only cried for the last shot in her arm.
After our visit we headed over to Toys R Us for some treats. Abby is all about cooking food so she got some more plastic food (oh boy, I love picking all those pieces up). Mason needed a gas tank for his Jeeps and ride-on toys. :)
